Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone was born in New York City on July the 6th, 1946.
His nickname is: Sly Stallone.
He has long list of films behind him.

He became famous by acting in the film Rocky (1976), which he wrote himself. These films about Rocky are now six.

He also acted in a film named Rambo (1982) and became famous. Now there are six of them, and the last one is Rambo: Last Blood in 2019, and maybe a remake coming in 2023, we hope.

My favorite film is Rocky (1976), and you can view a trailer from it and youtube.

Is Sylvester Stallone bald?

Sylvester Stallone’s bald head has a lot to do with his iconic look, and hair plays a significant role in his signature hairstyle. He has experimented with the best hairstyles and haircuts for balding men, hair colors, and even shaving his head. However, while we love him as an action star and box office powerhouse, some people take issue with what’s happening on top of his head. So let’s take a closer look at the facts about Sylvester Stallone’s hair loss.

Consider what you’ve read about, and you might want to try how to cover up bald spots on the crown.

Is Sylvester Stallone’s hair real?

A photo of Sylvester Stallone was recently posted on the internet, showing him with a highly full head of hair. You may be shocked to learn that Sylvester Stallone’s hair in the photo isn’t his natural hair!

However, is Sylvester Stallone’s hair real or not becomes more difficult to find out what is going on with the hair follicle because the pictures featured on the internet show different hairstyles from year to year.

Is Sylvester Stallone's hair real

Some say he was covering up his balding by wearing a hairpiece or wig to hide his balding, which isn’t put in place too well, while others throw the card of him having a hair transplantation process surgery done.

When it comes to hair, no man can get insurance because his hair will remain in place for the rest of his life. More than half of men worldwide will be affected by hair loss sooner or later, and the unluckiest ones will have to deal with this if their start to see early signs of balding in their 20s. If you are lucky, you might go bald when you are 50 or older, but there’s only a slim chance you won’t be affected by hair loss sooner or later.

You should be aware that not only average individuals are affected by hair loss. Celebrities with hair loss, Sylvester Stallones and Wayne Rooney, and more balding actors are great examples of receding hairlines, thin hair, and crown balding on the top of the head.

So, does Sylvester Stallone wear a toupee?

While many people believe that Sylvester Stallone wears a toupee, the truth is that his hair transplant surgery was a success. Unfortunately, he lost some of his hair because of male pattern baldness, but he has put together a plan to combat it and has even done a few transplants. Many Hollywood stars have had successful hair transplants, and the process for Sylvester’s procedure seems to be going well so far.

What causes male pattern baldness?

Male pattern baldness is a common cause of hair loss in men. This baldness occurs when the hair follicles become too sensitive to androgens, which are male hormones. The sensitivity is due to a genetic factor called the 5-alpha reductase enzyme, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT has a negative impact on hair follicles by shrinking them and making them inactive. Over time, these shrunken hair follicles result in less and less hair to produced until they eventually stop producing any at all.

I have heard that the Laser Cap is an effective hair treatment and alternative to a hair transplant. I’m interested in exploring it as an option for myself.

Stallone always had a head full of hair, and we all remember Rambo and Rocky’s follicles at the time of those movies. It’s difficult to know for sure what is happening with Sly’s hair, but there are some things you can take for granted. The first one is that his hairline has been receding for a long time. Even when he was younger, 20-30 years ago, he had an island formed, but the thing was not obvious, sometimes being masked by the overall haircut.

In time, the island hairline had disappeared but surprisingly enough, not because of a hair job. In fact, his whole hairline receded, and he displayed a much higher forehead. In the 90s, some of his hair seemed to disappear again as his temples went even emptier. However, in the past few years, the hairline has been going lower and lower, looking similar to the line he sported when he was young. Pattern hair loss isn’t bad, not at all, because the hairline is still natural, and the hair looks pretty good, maintaining the line we’ve used.

However, there are some conflicting photos out there. Some show a clean forehead, while others feature different colors when it comes to the skin around the hairline. Additionally, Stallone’s hairstyle led to speculation that Stallone might wear a wig in public.

There is still strong evidence that Sylvester Stallone had a hair transplant because the so-called wig is too neat to be a piece. However, in 2013, while filming a movie, Stallone was spotted behind the scenes with grey hair, while in the movie, he has thick, black strands of hair. So, was he photographed while having the wig put in place? However, his natural hair isn’t thin either, and the hairline remained pretty low, so there is still room for speculation about a transplant done in the past.

The verdict

Based on the evidence, Sylvester Stallone’s hair seems real. However, there are some pictures where his hair looks like a wig. There are also pictures of his hair transplant surgery, which would be difficult to fake. Therefore, it seems likely that he suffers from male pattern baldness and has had a hair transplantation process to fix this issue.

  1. I am sure it is hair system. Hair transplant can’t fill it up so nicely and full. Seagal for example is a really bad piece because of hairline and the 110% fullness. He should get the one with natural hairline and maybe 90% fullness to look natural. Also, as men age, the side hair also recede back up to temple. So when a system is up, even though they wear it at their normal hairline as young men the side of head you can see the wide unnatural forehead. Some hide it with side hair down to cover up that wide forehead. For those people with that kind of receding hairline, need a full piece that include side.
